Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the BharatSC platform operated by BharatSC (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

• Platform — the BharatSC web application at bharatsc.com and related services.
• Academy — a sports academy registered on the Platform (each Academy is a separate tenant).
• Administrator — the person who creates and manages an Academy account.
• User — any person who accesses the Platform, including Administrators, coaches, staff, and members.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Each Academy must be a legitimate sports training organisation operating in India.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an Academy account. Members under 18 require parental consent.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable Indian law.
• Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or Platform systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform’s infrastructure.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Platform.
• Resell or redistribute access to the Platform without written permission.

4. Academy Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Platform (member records, schedules, financial data, etc.). We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your Academy data. You grant us a limited licence to process and store this data solely to provide the Platform services.

5. Pricing & Payments

• BharatSC uses a per-active-player pricing model. Current pricing is available on the Platform.
• Payments are processed through Razorpay. By making a payment, you also agree to Razorpay’s terms.
• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable GST.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of payment for refund requests.

6. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our reasonable control.

7. Data Protection

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

8. Intellectual Property

The BharatSC name, logo, design, and software are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Platform without written permission.

9. Termination

• You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practicable.
• Upon termination, you may request an export of your Academy data within 30 days.
• After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, BharatSC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
